Davide studied Chemistry at Sapienza - University of Rome. In 2021, he got his Ph.D. in Theoretical Chemistry at the University of Vienna under the supervision of Prof. Leticia González. His thesis focused on the simulation of light-induced DNA binding and damage. In his first Postdoctoral experience, he focused on method and software development for QM/MM photochemical simulations in complex environments, under the supervision of Prof. Marco Garavelli at the University of Bologna. Later, he moved for a postdoctoral stay at the University of Toronto in the group of Prof. Alán Aspuru-Guzik, where he focused on machine learning for chemical and biochemical applications. He joined Chimie ParisTech in February 2024 as an Assistant Professor (Maître de Conferences).
Alessandro obtained his Master's degree in Photochemistry in 2022 at the University of Bologna under the supervision of Prof. Marco Garavelli. He stayed in Bologna and since 2023, under the supervision of Prof. Artur Nenov, he is doing a Ph.D. in Chemistry focused on developing innovative computational methods for biochemical systems. During his 6-month stay, he will learn machine learning and incorporate it into his previous works to obtain new algorithms to efficiently integrate different quantum-chemical methods
Marion is a master student of the ICI PSL Master. She is currently doing her M2 internship under the supervision of Dr. Fanny d'Orlye and Davide to computationally investigate the self-assembly properties of peptides for theranostic applications
Carlo is a master's student in Photochemistry and Molecular Materials at the University of Bologna. It is in Paris within the Erasmus program for his master research project, focusing on non-adiabatic dynamics. In particular, he is working in new implementation in Ab Initio Multiple Spawning to model double pulses experiment."
